Professional Mobile Paint Correction Service

Most people do not realise how much their paintwork has deteriorated until they see it properly corrected. If you are looking for a mobile paint correction service in Hertfordshire, OCD Pro Detail is the right call.

Swirl marks, holograms, fine scratches, that dull haze that builds up over time. Paint correction removes all of that and what is left underneath is a finish that looks genuinely stunning.

I have been doing this for close to a decade and paint correction is one of the most satisfying services I offer. It is skilled, precise work that requires the right machine, the right compounds and the experience to know exactly how much to cut and when to stop.

Get it wrong and you do more damage than you started with. Get it right and the transformation is dramatic.

I assess every car individually before any work starts. I will always be honest with you about what is achievable and give you a clear price before I touch anything.

If your paintwork has seen better days, get in touch and send me some photos. I will tell you exactly what I can do for it.

Our Services

Q: How do I know if my car needs paint correction?

A: Look at the paintwork in direct sunlight or under a bright light. If you can see a web of fine scratches or a dull haze that does not shift with a wash, that is exactly what paint correction is designed to fix. Send me some photos and I will give you an honest assessment.

Q: Will paint correction remove all scratches?

A: Surface scratches and swirl marks within the clear coat can be fully removed or significantly reduced. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat to the base coat or primer are a different matter and I will always tell you honestly what is and is not achievable before any work starts.

Q: Should I get a ceramic coating after paint correction?

A: It is the ideal time to do it. Once the paintwork has been corrected it is in the best possible condition for a coating to bond to. Applying a ceramic or graphene coating straight after correction locks in that finish and protects it for years.

Q: How long does paint correction take?

A: It depends on the size of the car and the severity of the defects. Most jobs are a full day. I will always give you a clear time estimate after I have assessed the car so you know exactly what to expect.
